EIPA hydrochloride is a synthetic peptide that is an inhibitor of protein interactions. It has been shown to inhibit the binding of the neurotoxin, alpha-latrotoxin, to its receptor, thereby preventing toxin entry into cells and subsequent cell death. EIPA hydrochloride also shows activator properties for some receptors and can be used as a research tool in cell biology studies. The purity of this product is high and it has been shown to have no effect on ion channels or antibody production.
