SSE15206 is a small molecule that belongs to the class of chalcones. It has been shown to have apoptotic effects on cancer cells in vitro and in vivo, as well as anti-inflammatory properties. SSE15206 binds to annexin A2 and causes the release of adenosine diphosphate (ADP) ribose from annexin A2, which leads to apoptotic cell death.
