Avex-73 is an anti-inflammatory drug that belongs to the group of pharmacological agents. It has been shown to have a strong effect on synaptic dysfunction and neurodevelopmental disorders, as well as mitochondrial membrane potential. Avex-73 is thought to be safe for human use because it has a low toxicity profile and no adverse effects in animal studies. The drug has not been approved by the FDA for any therapeutic indications, but there are clinical studies being conducted on its use for neurologic disorders.
