Descripción:SPhosPdG3, a bifunctional ligand, is capable of binding to the kinetochore-microtubule interface and inhibiting mitosis in cells. SPhosPdG3 binds to the kinetochore-microtubule interface and inhibits mitosis by altering the spindle checkpoint. The ligand has been shown to bind to the bromodomain on proteins that are involved in cancer development and progression, such as CDK4/CDK6 and BRD2. SPhosPdG3 has been shown to have inhibitory potency for these protein kinases in vitro. This compound may be useful for treating cancer through targeting these pathways.
