Descripción:2-Ethyl-6-methoxynaphthalene (2EMN) is a naproxen derivative that inhibits the enzyme cyclooxygenase and blocks the formation of prostaglandins. This compound is used in pharmaceutical preparations to treat pain and inflammation, as well as in mineralization studies. 2EMN binds to ferrite, forming a ternary complex, which leads to an increase in the rate of degradation of fatty acids. The experimental model for this reaction was found to be constant, with a high resistance against acidic or fatty acids.
