Hexahydrophenyl cinacalcet hydrochloride (HPC) is a synthetic compound that is used as an impurity standard in the manufacture of other drugs. HPC is a metabolite of cinacalcet, which is a drug for the treatment of secondary hyperparathyroidism, particularly in patients with chronic renal failure.
