Descripción:4-Amino-3-hydroxybenzamide is a compound that has been found to have therapeutic effects in the treatment of congestive heart failure, atherosclerosis, and alzheimer's disease. It is an inhibitor of amine uptake, which prevents the accumulation of amines in cells. 4-Amino-3-hydroxybenzamide can also modulate the inflammatory response by decreasing levels of cytokines and reactive oxygen species. The molecule also has anti-inflammatory properties, as it decreases glucose uptake by macrophages and inhibits neutrophil chemotaxis.
