GNE-3511 is a compound that belongs to the group of pharmacological agents. It functions by binding to angiotensin II and inhibiting its activity on the cell surface, which prevents the formation of angiotensin II-induced vasoconstriction. GNE-3511 also has a dose-dependent effect, where higher doses have stronger effects than lower doses. This drug has been shown to optimize transduction efficiencies of cells in culture and can be used to test ligands for binding with transduction domains in cell cultures. It is also a potent inhibitor of neurokinin-1 (NK1) receptors and has been shown to have strong anti-inflammatory properties.
