Descripción:ABO dihydrochloride is a molecule that belongs to the annexin family. It is an anti-apoptotic agent that inhibits apoptosis by preventing caspase activation and translocation. ABO dihydrochloride has been shown to have effects on the cellular cycle, and can induce autophagy and translational inhibition in mammalian cells. This drug also has a reactive effect on mitochondrial membrane potential, which may be due to its ability to increase the production of reactive oxygen species (ROS). ABO dihydrochloride induces apoptosis in leukemia cells as well as basic fibroblast cells. The compound has been shown to inhibit tumor growth in animal models and exhibits anticancer activity in vitro and in vivo.
