Descripción:AR-C155858 is an ancillary inhibitor that targets the ATP synthase in mitochondria. It is known to inhibit the mitochondrial membrane potential and, as a result, inhibits mitochondrial ATP synthesis. This drug has been shown to inhibit the uptake of glucose and oxygen and decrease the production of reactive oxygen species by tumor cells in vitro. AR-C155858 has also been shown to be potent against hypoxic solid tumours in vivo.
