Descripción

Deleobuvir is a viral inhibitor that inhibits the NS3 protease, which is an enzyme that plays a vital role in the replication of hepatitis C and HIV. Deleobuvir can be used for the treatment of lymphoproliferative disorders. Deleobuvir has been shown to inhibit the activities of enzymes involved in drug metabolism, such as CYP2B6. Deleobuvir also has a potential for drug interactions with antiretroviral drugs, such as sofosbuvir. Deleobuvir is metabolized to an active form by oxidation of the n-oxide group to form a glycosylated compound.
