Alpinumisoflavone-4'-methyl ether is a prenylated isoflavone that has potent inhibition of pancreatic lipase. This product is used in the research of health care products and medicines. The dry extract of alpinumisoflavone-4'-methyl ether has been shown to inhibit tyrosinase activity and reduce the formation of melanin in cells, which may be due to its reactive properties.
