Descripción:6-Amino-2-aminobenzothiazole is a chemical substance that has been used as an antituberculosis drug. It is an antimicrobial agent that inhibits the growth of microorganisms by binding to their ribosomes and blocking protein synthesis. 6-Amino-2-aminobenzothiazole can be used for the treatment of tuberculosis and other bacterial infections. The compound binds to the 16S ribosomal RNA, inhibiting protein synthesis and cell division. 6-Amino-2-aminobenzothiazole also inhibits microbial growth by binding to DNA gyrase, which is an enzyme that maintains the integrity of bacterial DNA. This drug has been shown to be effective against Staphylococcus aureus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Escherichia coli, and Bacillus cereus.
