Descripción:Nepinalone hydrochloride is a small molecule that activates the neurokinin receptor. It has been shown to be a potent analgesic and anti-inflammatory agent in animal models of acute and chronic pain. Nepinalone hydrochloride binds to the neurokinin receptor, which causes an increase in intracellular calcium levels, leading to the activation of protein kinase C (PKC) and activation of phospholipase C (PLC). This leads to increased production of prostaglandins, which are responsible for pain sensations. Nepinalone hydrochloride also inhibits the activity of phosphodiesterase, which prevents degradation of cAMP, thereby increasing intracellular levels.
