Valproic Acid Methyl Ester is a drug that is used to treat epilepsy and other conditions. Valproic acid is a fatty acid that has been shown to inhibit the enzyme activity of dehydrogenase in the liver, which may lead to increased levels of valproic acid in the blood. Valproic acid has been shown to have inhibitory properties in a model system using acetonitrile as the solvent. Valproic acid also has efficient methods for solid dispersions and hydroxyl groups that can react with biphenyl or benzoylpyridine.
