Información del producto
- Cyclohexanecarboxylic acid, 1-isocyano-, ethyl ester (9CI)
Ethyl 1-isocyanocyclohexanecarboxylate is an organic compound that is used as a coupling agent in the synthesis of allyl carbonates. It undergoes homolytic cleavage to form an isonitrile, which then reacts with allyl bromide to form a new radical. This radical can then react with carbonate ions to form ethyl 1-cyano-1-cyclohexanecarboxylate. The reaction proceeds without the need for any external source of heat and is catalyzed by palladium metal. This process has been shown to be useful for the synthesis of nitriles from carboxylic acid derivatives.
