Descripción:N-(Valeryl-d5) fentanyl is a synthetic opioid drug that has been shown to have analgesic and sedative properties. The effects of this drug are similar to those of fentanyl, but it is more potent. N-(Valinyl-d5) fentanyl has been detected in urine samples using GC-MS. The detection sensitivity for this compound is approximately 2 pg/ml. The matrix effect can be removed by linear regression analysis when the data from locomotor activity tests are used with the analytical method. N-(Valeryl-d5)fentanyl can be synthesized from the commercial chemical valeryl chloride and 5-fluoro-N-(3′,4′-dihydroxyphenyl)valeric acid (DHFV), which can be obtained from commercially available precursors such as 3,4-dihydroxybenzoic acid or 3,4-dimethoxybenzoic acid.
