N-(2-((S)-3-(((1r,4S)-4-hydroxy-4-(5-(pyrimidin-2-yl)pyridin-2-yl)cyclohexyl)amino)pyrrolidin-1-yl)-2-oxoethyl)-3-(trifluoromethyl)benzamide is an antagonist that has been shown to selectively inhibit the activity of the enzyme PDE10A. This compound is orally bioavailable and has been tested in human clinical trials for the treatment of asthma. It has also shown potent antagonistic activity against a variety of other enzymes such as PDE5, PDE6B, and PDE8.
