Descripción

Lupinisoflavone A is a dibenzopyran-type isoflavonoid that belongs to the class of parvisoflavones. It has been shown to inhibit the growth of bacteria such as pyricularia, ferruginea, and phytoalexins. Lupinisoflavone A has also been shown to exhibit antifungal properties by inhibiting phosphatases in exudates from plants. This compound has been used as a treatment for fungal infections caused by these organisms in various plant species. Lupinisoflavone A is not toxic to animals and does not inhibit plant growth.
