Descripción:ORIC-101 is a synthetic glucocorticoid that binds to nuclear receptors and has the same effects as endogenous cortisol hormone. The glucocorticoid receptor (GR) is activated by ORIC-101, which induces the transcription of genes involved in physiological processes such as inflammation and immunity. The expression levels of GRs are regulated by other protein factors, such as coactivators and corepressors. This drug has been shown to enhance the immune response and inhibit tumor growth in animal models. It also suppresses mesenchymal markers associated with cancer metastasis.br>br>ORIC-101 is being studied for its potential use in the treatment of epithelial cancers, but clinical relevance has not been established.
