Descripción

Oleuropein aglycone is an apoptosis pathway inhibitor that belongs to the group of natural compounds. It has been shown to inhibit the growth of cancer cells in vitro and in vivo. Oleuropein aglycone inhibits cell proliferation by inducing autophagy, which is a process that breaks down cellular components. Oleuropein aglycone also induces apoptosis by activating the p-hydroxybenzoic acid (pHBA) signaling pathway, which regulates apoptotic pathways and reduces inflammation. The biological properties of oleuropein aglycone have been confirmed using analytical methods such as preparative HPLC and LC-MS/MS. The compound has also been shown to inhibit drug interactions with cytochrome P450 enzymes, which are responsible for metabolizing drugs in the body.
