Descripción

Zerumbone is a natural compound found in the herb Curcuma aromatica that has been shown to have anti-cancer activity. It inhibits the activation of the apoptosis pathway and induces significant cytotoxicity in cancer cells, including HL-60 cells. Zerumbone also inhibits inflammation and suppresses bowel disease by reducing inflammatory cytokines. Zerumbone may be effective in treating other diseases, such as atherosclerotic lesions and bowel disease, by blocking inflammatory cytokine production.
