Descripción

Riddelliin is a n-oxide that has been shown to cause liver lesions in rats. It also potentiates the activity of various enzymes, such as CYP2D6 and CYP3A4, which can lead to drug interactions. Riddelliin is genotoxic and has been shown to be carcinogenic in both mice and rats. The compound is also toxic to humans, with its most common side effect being liver damage. The long-term effects of this drug on humans are not known, but it has been shown to cause toxicity in animals after prolonged exposure.
