RTC-5 is a synthetic peptide that activates the receptor for Ligand. RTC-5 is an activator of the G protein coupled receptor. It is a potent inhibitor of the Fyn tyrosine kinase and has been shown to inhibit the phosphorylation of ERK1/2 in cells. RTC-5 can be used as a research tool to study protein interactions, as an antibody for immunoprecipitation, or as a pharmacological agent to study cell biology and physiology.
