Methyl 2-amino-4-chloro-5-(trifluoromethyl)benzoate (MTBTB) is a chemical compound that belongs to the class of methyl esters. It has been shown to have cytotoxic effects on cancer cells and is used in chemotherapy. MTBTB inhibits the growth of cancer cells by interfering with DNA synthesis and cell division, which causes the death of the cancer cells.
