TAS-114 is a factor receptor, which binds to a specific growth factor and regulates the growth and movement of cells. It has been shown to have high detection capability for cancerous cells in blood samples. TAS-114 is an actuator that can be used to regulate the expression of epidermal growth factor (EGF) in cancer cells. TAS-114 also increases the synthesis of EGF by binding to the EGF receptor on the surface of cancerous cells. This drug has been shown to have cross-linking effects on DNA replication and RNA transcription, which have led to its use in inflammatory diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis.
