2,4,6,8-Tetramethylquinoline is an organic compound that contains sulfur. It has a wide range of applications, including in polymerization reactions and as an intermediate for other organic compounds. 2,4,6,8-Tetramethylquinoline consists of a ring with four carbon atoms and three heteroatoms: two sulfur atoms and one nitrogen atom. The carbonyl group is attached to the ring by a double bond to one of the sulfur atoms. The imino group is attached to the ring by a single bond to the other sulfur atom. The remainder of the molecule is composed of alkylene chains with epoxy groups at each end. These groups are attached to the sulfonyl group by single bonds on either side.
