ZLN005 is a research tool that can be used to activate and detect the ligands of receptor proteins. It is a high-purity, chemically synthesized peptide that has been designed to mimic the natural ligand of the human β2 adrenergic receptor (β2AR). ZLN005 is a competitive antagonist of the β2AR and can be used in pharmacology as an inhibitor of this receptor. ZLN005 has also been shown to inhibit Clostridium difficile toxin A-induced ion channel activity in cells.
