Descripción:Nifoxipam is a pharmaceutical drug that can be used to treat inflammatory diseases. It has been shown to reduce the levels of inflammatory cytokines and prostaglandin E2 in human serum. Nifoxipam is also an effective treatment for urinary tract infections, particularly in cases where the causative agent is Escherichia coli. This drug has been shown to have anti-cancer properties, which may be due to its ability to inhibit the growth of cancer cells. The hydroxyl group on nifoxipam can react with amino groups on proteins and form adducts that are excreted in urine samples. These adducts can be detected using analytical methods such as gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) or liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (LC-MS).
