QF0301B is a selective serotonin receptor 2A (5-HT2A) agonist that has been shown to bind competitively to 5-HT2A receptors in rat tissues. This drug has been shown to have a concentration-response curve in the range of 0.1 nM to 10 μM, with maximal responses occurring at concentrations of 1 μM and 10 μM. QF0301B can be used for the treatment of diseases characterized by hyperresponsiveness, such as renal hypertension and hepatorenal syndrome. It also has effects on blood pressure and renal blood flow, which may be due to its ability to increase noradrenaline release from sympathetic nerve terminals.
