NE-100 is a peptide that is used as a research tool. It has been shown to activate ion channels and inhibit protein interactions. NE-100 is an inhibitor of Protein Kinase C (PKC). It binds to the receptor site for PKC, which leads to an inhibition of PKC activity. The receptor site for NE-100 is found on the surface of cells in the brain, kidney, and heart. This drug can inhibit the action of other drugs, such as morphine and fentanyl.

NE-100 is a fluorescent peptide that has been shown to activate ion channels and inhibit protein interactions.
