Descripción:CXCL8 (54-72) is a C-terminal peptide segment of the chemokine CXCL8. This peptide features a long, highly positively charged C-terminal region that interacts with the negative charges on glycosaminoglycans (GAG) to facilitate binding. CXCL8 (54-72) inhibits neutrophil adhesion and migration, as well as adhesion to endothelial cells. It is useful in studying the role of chemokines in inflammatory responses.
