Descripción:Cys-PKHB1 (Cys-txCD47) TFA is a polypeptide consisting of a cysteine (Cys) residue conjugated with PKHB1, which is a CD47 agonist peptide that mimics the anti-tumor effects of thrombospondin-1 peptides. In breast cancer cells, PKHB1 induces mitochondrial changes, ROS production, intracellular accumulation of Ca+, and calcium-dependent cell death. Furthermore, PKHB1 activates the immune system through immunogenic cell death of breast cancer cells.
