3-[4-(2-Carboxyethyl)-3,5-dimethyl-1H-pyrazol-1-yl]propanoic acid is a potent and selective inhibitor of the enzyme protein kinase C (PKC). It is a white solid that is soluble in water. 3-[4-(2-Carboxyethyl)-3,5-dimethyl-1H-pyrazol-1-yl]propanoic acid has been shown to inhibit PKC in human neutrophils and in rat brain. 3-[4-(2-Carboxyethyl)-3,5-dimethyl-1H-pyrazol-1-yl]propanoic acid is used as a research tool for studying PKC activity.
