CAS :Applications Tributylamine is used as a reagent in the syntheses of quaternary ammonium-containing trithiocarbonate RAFT agents and hemi-telechelic cationomers. Tributylamine is also used as a corrosion inhibitor for mild steel in hydrochloric acid and as an initiator for cracking of heptane.
