CAS :<p>N-(4-Amino-2-chlorophenyl)-5-chloro-2-hydroxybenzamide (NAC) is an anthelmintic drug that inhibits the replication of a number of viruses. It was originally developed as an antihelminthic for use in humans, but its antiviral properties were discovered during development and it was modified to be used as a specific treatment for syncytial virus. NAC has also been shown to inhibit DNA replication in vitro at concentrations that are compatible with clinical use, and is cytotoxic to cells in vivo. The mechanism of action has been elucidated by studies on the effects on sodium nitrate and glucuronide conjugate formation. NAC has been found to be active against a wide range of viruses, including influenza A and B, adenovirus, herpes simplex virus type 1 and 2, human immunodeficiency virus type 1 (HIV-1), hepatitis C virus (</p>Formule :C13H10Cl2N2O2Degré de pureté :Min. 95%Masse moléculaire :297.13 g/mol
