CAS :2-Amino-5-bromopyridine is a molecule that belongs to the class of hydrochloric acid. It has been shown that when 6-aminonicotinic acid, an amino acid, reacts with ethyl bromoacetate and hydrochloric acid, 2-amino-5-bromopyridine is formed. This molecule was isolated for the first time in high yield by acetate extraction and reaction solution under nmr spectra. The compound has a constant absorption of ultraviolet light at 240 nm and cytotoxicity against cells in culture.
