    <p>1-(Chloromethyl)-4,7-dimethyl-4H,5H-[1,2,4]triazolo[4,3-a]quinazolin-5-one is a research tool that has been shown to activate receptors and ion channels. This compound binds to the ligand binding site of membrane proteins and modulates their function. It has also been shown to inhibit antibody production by B cells in vitro. 1-(Chloromethyl)-4,7-dimethyl-4H,5H-[1,2,4]triazolo[4,3-a]quinazolin-5-one is a potent inhibitor of the activity of protein kinase C (PKC) enzymes. PKC enzymes are involved in many cellular processes including cell growth and differentiation.</p>
