CAS :<p>Desmethyl dehydro lercanidipine is a metabolite of lercanidipine, an antihypertensive agent. Lercanidipine is a dihydropyridine calcium channel blocker that inhibits the influx of calcium ions into cardiac muscle cells and vascular smooth muscle cells. The desmethyl form of lercanidipine has been shown to have anti-inflammatory effects in rats with experimental arthritis.
