CAS :<p>5-Nitro-2-furfuraldazine (5NFD) is a retested, statistically significant carcinogen that has been shown to cause mammary tumors in female rats. 5NFD is a nitrosamine and a formamidine. It has been shown to have biological activity as an inhibitor of mitosis in fibroadenomas and mammary tumors.
