Ivacaftor benzenesulfonate
CAS :
Ivacaftor benzenesulfonate is a small molecule drug that binds to the cystic fibrosis transmembrane regulator (CFTR) and activates it. This leads to increased chloride transport, which in turn reduces the amount of fluid secreted by cells lining the airways. Ivacaftor benzenesulfonate has been shown to be safe and effective in treating cystic fibrosis patients who have one or two copies of the F508del mutation in the CFTR gene. It is also being evaluated for use in patients with other mutations that result in CFTR protein dysfunction. Ivacaftor benzenesulfonate was approved for use by the FDA on March 28th, 2012.
Formule :C30H34N2O6SDegré de pureté :Min. 95%Masse moléculaire :550.7 g/molIvacaftor benzenesulfonate
