2-Fluoro-N-[(3-methyl-1H-pyrazol-4-yl)methyl]aniline is a tyrosine kinase inhibitor that inhibits the growth of cancer cells. It binds to the ATP binding site of the enzyme and blocks its activity, which prevents the synthesis of proteins required for cell division. 2-Fluoro-N-[(3-methyl-1H-pyrazol-4-yl)methyl]aniline has been shown to be effective in inhibiting the growth of lung cancer cells and stabilizing chronic liver disease. This drug has also been shown to be effective against Alzheimer's disease through its ability to inhibit histone deacetylase.
