Description :

Ranitidine est un antagoniste des récepteurs H2 de l'histamine principalement utilisé pour réduire la production d'acide gastrique, ce qui le rend efficace dans le traitement de conditions telles que les ulcères peptiques, la maladie de reflux gastro-œsophagien (RGO) et le syndrome de Zollinger-Ellison. C'est une poudre cristalline blanche à presque blanche, soluble dans l'eau et ayant une formule moléculaire de C13H22N4O3S. Ranitidine agit en bloquant l'action de l'histamine sur les récepteurs H2 des cellules pariétales gastriques, diminuant ainsi la sécrétion d'acide gastrique.
