CAS :Arcyriaflavin A is a natural product that has been shown to have cytotoxic effects on cancer cells. Arcyriaflavin A is a polyether and has been found in endometrial tissue, complex life cycles, and hydroxy group. It has been shown to inhibit the growth of endometrial cancer cells by inhibiting the release of inflammatory factors, such as prostaglandins and leukotrienes. Arcyriaflavin A also inhibits the binding of growth factors to their receptors or other cell surface proteins involved in cell signaling pathways. This may be due to its ability to increase reactive oxygen species production and its ability to inhibit protein synthesis by preventing phosphorylation of eIF2α.
