CAS :Citalopram Related Compound D is an antiepileptic drug that belongs to the group of phenylpiperazine derivatives. It is a prodrug which is metabolized into escitalopram, its active form. Citalopram Related Compound D has been shown to have similar pharmacokinetic properties as escitalopram oxalate, with a half-life of about 3 hours. This drug has been shown to be effective in treating epilepsy and may also be used for the treatment of other neurological disorders such as Parkinson's disease and Alzheimer's disease.
