Carbamazepine-d2 is an analog of carbamazepine, a medication used to treat epilepsy and bipolar disorder. It has been shown to have potential anticancer properties by inhibiting elastase activity and kinase signaling pathways in cancer cells. In Chinese hamster ovary cells, carbamazepine-d2 has been found to induce apoptosis and inhibit tumor growth. This compound can also be used as a protein kinase inhibitor in various research applications.
