Bradykinin is a potent vasodilator and has been shown to be a key mediator of inflammatory pain. 6AAMBOP is an inhibitor of ion channels, which are important in the transmission of pain signals. 6AAMBOP also may act as an antihypertensive agent by inhibiting angiotensin II receptors.
