Biotin-11-2-deoxyuridine-5-triphosphate tetralithium salt
CAS :
Biotin-11-2-deoxyuridine-5-triphosphate tetralithium salt is a modified nucleoside that is used in antiviral and anticancer treatments. The deoxyribonucleosides are synthesized by coupling biotin to 2'-deoxyuridine 5'-triphosphate, which is then reacted with lithium tetralithium chloride. This product has been shown to be an activator of DNA synthesis and can induce the proliferation of cancer cells. Biotin-11-2-deoxyuridine-5-triphosphate tetralithium salt has been shown to inhibit the growth of both human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) and murine leukemia virus (MLV).
Biotin-11-2-deoxyuridine-5-triphosphate tetralithium salt is also used in the synthesis of ribonucleosides for use in DNA research.
