CAS :
2-Ethynyl-4-methoxypyridine is a pyridyl compound that can be prepared by the electrolysis of an azide in the presence of copper foil. It is a strong reducing agent and can be used to reduce other substances, such as carbonyls, to formic acid. 2-Ethynyl-4-methoxypyridine has been shown to catalyze the reduction of triazolyl compounds. This reaction proceeds through an electrochemical process in which 2-ethynyl-4-methoxypyridine reduces the triple bond. The nature of this reaction is photoreduction, in which a photon or electron from light or another source initiates the process.
Formule :C8H7NODegré de pureté :Min. 95%Masse moléculaire :133.15 g/mol
