GGTI298 Trifluoroacetate also inhibits mitochondrial membrane potential and cell lysis, which may be responsible for its anti-inflammatory properties. In addition, this drug has been shown to inhibit p21, an inhibitor of the cyclin-dependent kinase inhibitor protein CDK4, and epidermal growth factor receptor activity.
